Grab an Italian sub here before my flight out to San Francisco, and ended up with a case of food poisoning... It was the worse 3.5 hours of my life. It also completely ruined New Years week. The sandwich itself was mediocre and the bread tasted like cardboard. This is my 2nd potbelly's experience and my last. $6 isn't worth 48 hours of pain, nauseous, and stress.

Always love potbelly! However they seem to be understaffed badly. Twice I went to this location and both times my salad was made missing items. Standard wreck salad. Forgot cheese and croutons this time. Last time got home and no dressing. Hope the personal there get some help soon so they can get their good food correct.

Hands down the best option for a sandwich in the Des Plaines area. Friday's at lunch time has live music too, which really makes you forget about the work day for a brief moment in time.

This is my favorite potbelly in the Chicagoland area. Great customer service - friendly, fast and make better sandwiches than other potbelly locations. Can use the wifi from the Panera next door so that's a plus!

Came here yesterday for the first time with my boyfriend. Small menu didn't really impress me but the employees were very nice and fast! When we got our order I was surprised at how delicious the sandwich was!! It was simple it very flavorful! We also got the frozen raspberry lemonade and that was soooo good!! Very pleased with my time here! We'll be back for sure!

The tuna salad is kind of gross.. I think they use vinegar and oil rather than mayo..

Silly, silly me. We didn't want to spend the time driving to Jersey Mike's so went to Potbelly instead. NEver again. I ordered tuna salad. I make the mistake of not telling them I wanted it cold- I didnt know they toasted everything. When they handed me hot sandwich I was shocked and I cannot fathom eating tuna warm. So they make me another, cold, it was not creamy, (doesn't "tuna salad" imply creamy?). Well, it didn't taste good and hard bread that I believe was stale (rememb, not even toasted so can't justify hard bread). BUZZER - you're out of the game, Potbelly. Partner got a beef sandwich and wasn't pleased with quality or quantity. Out in the burbs, Jersey Mike's is the closest I have come to my all time favorites for subs (namely, Hero's and Ba-ba-rinos in the city )

This is the poorest run Potbelly's I have ever been too. First time here. Walked in, no one was behind the counter and it was 1:15, technically still the lunch hour. A guy did come out from the back after I waited maybe a minute in a half. I ordered a cup of soup and a Mediterranean sandwich. I walked down to pay, no one was around. A couple minutes passed and a girl came out of the back area wearing the shortest cutoff denim shorts. She looked like she should've been at the park, not appropriate for a work environment. She asked me what I ordered and I told her. I paid for my drink and picked up my tray, which felt like it had never been cleaned. I also noticed that was the case with a lot of the tables. Went back to the counter and a girl came out asking what I ordered and she asked what I wanted on it. A minute or do later she gave me my sandwich. The sandwich was good and the employees were friendly. I just think they were very unorganized and there seemed to b a lack of management. One thing was for sure if there was a Manager on duty that day they defiantly were doing a good job.

The Mediterranean minus the feta is a delicious vegan option! I love it and it is consistently good at this location! The sweet potato pop-chips are awesome too, and this is the only place I can find them!

Just another sandwich place in sea of sandwich places. I really do miss diversity when I'm out lunch. If you want to try something other then Panera, and are in the mood for soup or a sandwich then there is nothing wrong with this place. Panera may be a little bit more health conscious but at least it changes things up...... Sandwiches are pretty good and very filling, but one draw back is that the menu is bit smaller then others. The first time and last time I was here, it didn't seem to be to packed and if you in a group try to keep it smaller then 6. Small dining area and very little tables that are re-arrangeable.

Terrible experience with ordering delivery for an office (meeting) over the phone. I hated that the employee which took the order, wouldn't accept responsibility for the error. She was insistent that I jacked it up. If I'm missing "my" sandwich, how could I jack up the order. BS! Also, she wouldn't answer the phone and talk to me, another phone person was telling me I should have double checked my order. WHAT?! Oh yea.. I ordered a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with the sandwich, the cookie made its way to me. It was awesome. Everyone liked their sandwiches. Potbelly sandwiches are always awesome. They offered to credit me for the forgotten sandwich, but, were hesitant to send the delivery guy back to bring me a sandwich! AND.. I expressed that it was a cash order, many people needing change, they send the delivery guy without change. I called twice to make sure, dude would have change. RIDICULOUS. If you plan to order for a group, use a fax machine. There is physical evidence that you are not a liar. WTF? Two stars for jacking up my Potbelly's experience..

Clean, and fast. Employees were friendly, they didn't screw up my order, which is much appreciated. This reminds me of the "food snob" thread and why places like this shouldn't be reviewed. This is just why, I will do a review of another Potbelly location, that I had the misfortune of going to a few days after this one, because this one was pretty decent. Good solid, service and food to fill that I'm hungry now void.

Great Potbelly's - I love to get a vegetarian and add bacon. Maybe that's wrong but it's very tasty. The potato salad is also quite good.
